Imho, this seriously is the best browser available on iOS and one of the best apps I have ever purchased. So people who haven’t used it jumping to conclusions: they couldn’t be more wrong. When you have Chrome installed, it may interfere with iCab in some applications. Just one problem: if you have Google Chrome installed, which I hope not if you’re in this sub: Google pays some app developers to try to use Chrome. Search for Default apps in the Windows Start Menu by choosing the app from the list of the search results before you enter the Start Menu search bar.Open the Default app window to visit the section for Web browser, and click the one you want.Default settings for Internet Explorer will be reset by selecting it. And having this browser as default browser on iOS is amazing! :) So yes: you can set this browser as default, even though it’s with a work-around. Afterwards itll never ask again for that app, but the first few days might be annoying.
When disabling Safari from the Screentime function (app restrictions), iCab Mobile automagically becomes your default browser and works with 99.9% of all applications including Apple’s like Mail with only one downside: the first time you open a URL from an app iOS asks you permission to open it with iCab.
